THE REFUGEE CRISIS IN GREECE! – INSIGHT TO THE OINOFYTA REFUGEE CAMP

One Hope Foundation visited the Oinofyta Refugee Camp in Greece on Saturday 8th October 2016 to spend time with the refugees and assess the situation on the ground.

We raised a total of £3,030.00 for the trip. After speaking to refugees, the medical team and the camp manager, One Hope Foundation decided to spend the donations they received as follows;

1) Essential medicine for children requested by the medical team – €498.10

2) 2 weeks supply of food for 650 people including, rice, chickpeas, lentils, eggs and tea bags. – €1,616.14

3) Essential items for new born babies – €198.62

4) Winter socks – €100

5) Prayer mats, hats and other items – €47 Total spent €2,459.86.

All remaining money will be used on future projects. Please remember we run a 100% donation policy!
